ALBUM REVIEW: CHER LLOYD – SORRY I’M LATE

Cher Lloyd brings maturity to her music, while still keeping the edge on the Sophomore release of Sorry I’m Late.

The 11 track power pop record is filled with the bossy dance tracks Lloyd is known for, with a few ballads highlighting the growth in her music and maturity. Such as “Sirens”. The strongest beautifully written ballad on the record, features Lloyds vocals at her best, showing heavy emotion and strength. Lloyd gets back to bossy with tracks like “Dirty Love” and “M.F.P.O.T.Y.”. Heavy bass dance beats, with feel good humorous lyrics.

Lloyd never holds back on a album, and she definitely stayed on the same track with this one! While there is less rap verses, as featured on Lloyd’s previous release Sticks & Stones, the lyrics and ballads make up for it. A all around solid album, and nothing short of what we expected. Pre-Order Sorry I’m Late here.
