GO LIVE: THE DROPKICK MURPHY’S MAKE A STOP IN THE DMV AT THE LINCOLN THEATRE

Currently supporting their latest record, the Dropkick Murphy’s make a stop at the legendary Lincoln Theatre in our Nations Capital. Normally at a Dropkick Muprhy’s show the energy is at an all time max, but this time its a bit different. They decided to slow things down and bring an all acoustic set to numerous theaters around the US with support from Jaime Wyatt and Jesse Ahern. Now don’t think because its acoustic things can’t get loud, because tonight at the Lincoln Theatre the energy was still at an all time high and folks seemed quite relaxed and enjoyed every moment of this show.

On October 25th, a beautiful day in the Nations Capital, fans lined up along the street of one of the most notable theatres in D.C. Once inside the venue, fans were seen either taking a glimpse and purchasing merchandise, enjoying taking in the beauty of the theatre and or making their way to their seats. As fans started trickling into the theatre part of the venue, the chatter grew louder as fans talked amongst their peers. As the lights went down, the cheers grew loud as the first act went on. The opening artists Jaime Wyatt and Jesse Ahern really knew how to get the crowd to get off their feet, enjoying the music. After two incredible sets it was time for the Dropkick Murphys to take the stage. Their set was electrified even for something that was stripped down for an all acoustic set.
