Following the release of their highly-praised debut EP in 2021, transatlantic four-piece The Backfires have returned with their electrifying new single/video “Reflections On My TV.” Accompanied by Alex Gomez’s warm vocal delivery and the track’s bright guitar composition, “Reflections On My TV” signals the group’s growth since their debut.

The band released Consider the Backfires in 2021, and “COVID” remotely recorded and released their follow-up single “Song 55” later that year. At the end of 2021, the band reunited in London to record their 2022 singles “Blindsided” and “Reflections On My TV.”
At the beginning of 2022, Ruprecht and Wanduragala relocated to New York City. The band made their post-pandemic debut at a sold-out show at Mercury Lounge in New York City and went on to play The Bowery Ballroom in August of this year.
