GO LIVE: SLIPKNOT LEG TWO ANYONE?!?!?! HELL F**KING YEAH! CHECK OUT OUR COVERAGE OF DAY ONE OF LEG TWO OF KNOTFEST ROADSHOW!

After a little break for the guys in the Slipknot camp, leg two of tour started back up on May 18th at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College PA. But this time there was a little change, on leg two of the tour Slipknot decided to spice things up a little and bring along Cypress Hill and Ho99o9 for the ride.

I will admit the venue was a littttttttleeee too bare in the beginning when the opener Ho99o9 took the stage, but don’t worry the arena filled up super quick a few moments into their set. Earlier in the day the fans lined up around the arena, especially those with general admission tickets, I mean come on do you blame them?!?! Who wouldn’t want to be right on the barricade at a Slipknot show?!

First up was Ho99o9, and I will say that this band I’m quite indifferent about them, but the energy the band had on the first night of tour (for them at least) was setting expectations quite high for the rest of tour high. These guys especially the frontman, theOGM, was all over the place. The band only had a short time on stage but definitely made the most of it playing a solid setlist consisting of many hits of theirs. Check out the setlist of Ho99o9’s set:

After an interesting set from Ho99o9, it was time for some OG’s. CYPRESS HIIIILLLLLLL!!!! When I saw they were on the bill for this second half of tour I was absolutely pumped! Its been a few years, probably before covid when I last saw them. Unfortunately, it didn’t go unnoticed that Sen Dog was not performing due to an ongoing health issue and its not likely he will be joining the tour anytime soon. So we hope you get better soon Sen Dog. Anyway, the show must go on as original member B-Real said and dedicated the performance to his fellow band member. As the arena began to fill and fill the crowd vibed along and there were a good amount of people singing along with the guys of Cypress Hill. The setlist of their first night on the Knotfest Roadshow was cut short due to a technical issue, check out their semi-setlist below:

How I Could Just Kill a Man
(Rock) Superstar
Insane in the Brain
Jump Around (House of Pain cover)

After the shortened set by Cypress Hill, there was a massive changeover about to happen. This tours production is INSANE. LIKE MIND BLOWING! There is so much going on, whether its Tortilla Man and Clown bantering back and forth and messing around on stage to all the fire that is almost face melting (PLEASE NOTE I do in fact still have my eyebrows lol) , its just that insane and worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY spent if you purchased a ticket (or are thinking about it, just DO IT.) Fans chanted “SLIPKNOT” as the curtain with the bands name on it covered the stage. Their intro songs were For Those About to Rock by AC/DC and Get Behind Me Satan and Push by Billie Jo Spears. Then the lights went out and the screams grew louder. Again, it still amazed me how they use some high tech technology to gather the curtain in mid air rather than just dropping to the ground. Slipknot opened up their seventeen song setlist with fan favorite Disasterpiece. Throughout the night it consisted of moshing, crowd surfing which HUGE props to the venue for keeping up with all that chaos. The night was long but Slipknot absolutely set even higher expectations for the second half of the Knotfest Roadshow tour. INSANE. That is all I have to say. The tour still has MANY MANY dates left and being that I’ve seen this tour TWICE already just shows how insane this tour is. Hands down one of the best tours I have seen in a very long time. Check out the jam packed setlist from the first night of leg two of Slipknots Knotfest Roadshow:
