GO LIVE: NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK BRING THE PARTY TO MERRIWEATHER POST PAVILION!!

A concert in the middle of the week?! Mind you a New Kids on the Block concert, that had all the Blockheads (apparently that is what the diehard fans call themselves) flocked into Merriweather Post Pavilion. Usually when you go to shows you see the occasional artist shirt from past or current tours, or just normal clothing but not at a NKOTB show, some fans were decked out in vintage merchandise, some were in newer attire and some were even decked out head to toe in New Kids on the Block attire. It was quite insane but hey that’s what dedicated fans do. Also let me add in that with the current times there were even some homemade NKOTB masks which were pretty impressive.

New Kids on The Block brought along the legendary Salt N Pepa to open up the night. Their set was a little short but they made sure to play all the hits which included:

After a short set from Salt N Pepa, the crew made a swift change to accommodate New Kids on The Block. After a short intermission, the lights went out and the screams that came from the crowd were very deafening. You would have thought we were at a Justin Bieber or One Direction concert. The introduction video individually showed each member and with each member the screams got louder.

The stage was a very simple set up, had “NKOTB” blocks on the stage and that’s where the guys came out and took the stage. As you can already predict once they took the stage the fans in attendance lost control. Some were crying, some were in some sort of shock and some were in awe. The band opened up their set with We Were Here.  New Kids on the Block treated fans to a thirty-six song set list which included many, many fan favorites as well as some songs that the guys haven’t even played since mid-2000’s. Check out the set list below:
