Go Live: Fall Out Boy plays the California Mid State Fair

As we entered the gates to The California Mid State Fair yesterday evening we were greeted by the familiar smells of funnel cakes, cotton candy, churros and corn dogs. The California Mid State Fair has hosted such acts over the years such as Pitbull, Jason Aldean, Def Leppard, Demi Lovato & Journey just to name a few. Fall Out Boy kicked off the opening night of the Midstate Fair and several other acts including Fergie & Blake Shelton will be playing as well. As we began our way to the Chumash Arena where Fall Out Boy would soon hit the stage we saw thousands of fans adorned in Fall Out Boy merchandise and smiles on their faces eager to find their seats. As the sun began to set and the fair began to illuminate with twinkling lights of the different carnival attractions and from the Chumash Arena the ferris wheel could be seen creating a beautiful backdrop.

As fans sat in their seats, a screen lit up on stage and figures began to take the stage.Fall Out Boy took the stage and the entire arena let out an roar. The band started the night with their newly released single Irresistible.Fall Out Boy played several fan favorites including Sugar We’re Going Down, This Ain’t A Scene It’s An Arm Race, I Don’t Care , Dance Dance, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs & Grand Theft Autumn. The band played several songs off their most release American Beauty, American Psycho including Uma Thurman, Novocaine, Jet Pack Blues & Centuries.As the evening came to a close and the began to walk off the stage, fans began to shout “One More Song! One More Song!”. Fall Out Boy returned to play My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark and the crowd sang along word for word.
